The Department of Psychiatry seeks to hire 2–3 full‑time junior faculty in the Division of Adult Psychiatry (Health Sciences series). Candidates must be committed to clinical work and teaching in hospital psychiatry, especially Consultation‑Liaison and Emergency Department Psychiatry.
- Must hold an M.D., D.O., or equivalent medical degree.
- Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Valid California Medical License and Drug Enforcement Administration certificate.
- Completion of an Adult Psychiatry residency required; a Fellowship in Consultation‑Liaison preferred.
Responsibilities include outpatient clinical care, substantial liaison work with staff and faculty of UCLA hospitals, and mandatory teaching in a teaching clinic. The position will consist primarily of clinical work and substantial liaison work with both staff and faculty of the UCLA hospitals.
