UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital Division of Pediatric Cardiology seeks a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist. Applicants should have formal 4th‑year fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology and must be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Current trainees are welcome to apply. The new faculty member will join the team as a junior interventional cardiologist working directly with Dr. Daniel Levi, the head of the cath lab, covering all pediatric cases.
Responsibilities- Perform interventional and diagnostic catheterizations in the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Cover the general pediatric cardiology inpatient service.
- Participate in the outpatient clinic.
- Engage in clinical, bench or translational research; participation in multicenter clinical trials and translational research programs is strongly encouraged.
- Assist with pediatric heart transplant and/or heart failure work within the Pediatric Transplant/Cardiomyopathy program if desired.
- Formal 4th‑year fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Strong interest in clinical research and a background in clinical research is valuable.
The position includes a faculty appointment at the David Geffen School of Medicine ary range: $115,100 – $294,590, commensurate with experience. The role is part of the health sciences compensation plan and eligible for additional compensation.
