The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine is seeking to fill two full‑time faculty positions (open rank) with outstanding, academically‑oriented candidates who demonstrate expertise in Surgical Pathology. Sub‑specialty fellowship training in Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal, Head & Neck, Gynecologic or Breast Pathology is desirable.
Successful candidates will:
- Serve the needs of a busy practice at Keck Hospital of USC and USC/Norris Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and surgical pathology fellows.
- Participate in translational and/or clinical research.
Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $220,000 – $400,000. Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including scope and responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, peer equity, laws, grants, and market considerations.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
- Experience in translational and/or clinical research is valued.
Appointment will be in the Clinical or Clinical Scholar series. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
