Senior Packaging Designer

The Senior Packaging Designer works closely with the Director, Brand Design on brand design initiatives for our Wheels Action category.

• Working under the art direction of the VP, Design you will create branding and packaging design concepts that support brand strategies.
• Work with production team to ensure integrity of design in final deliverables.
• Solicit creative direction from key team members on the product development team and marketing team in a timely manner.
• Develop marketing support materials, creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business development presentations.
• Develop digital marketing assets where required.
• Collaborate with Production, Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams as well as overseas agents, as necessary, in the package development and approval process.
• With support from the photo studio team, direct and manage photoshoots when needed for packaging development.
• Manage 1-2 freelance designers.

• Consumer products industry; toy package design preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of 3D, Keyshot, and Esko Software a BIG plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design or equivalent; or related experience and / or training.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in California is $85,000 to $95,000 USD per annum. This job posting is tied to an open vacancy.
