Job Description

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join us in our continued mission to build a best-in-class global creative studio for VISA and the Clients we serve. The ideal candidate will have a design background with a proven track record of working on beautifully crafted brand design campaigns, visual systems, logos and social campaigns. This person should have experience working within advertising agencies, design studios or brand-side internal creative studios and a portfolio that demonstrates work across the funnel.

They should bring fresh, unique thinking, strong craft and an eye for design, typography, and motion. They must be strategic, articulate, and able to execute strategy through creative output. They must stay ahead of all trends and ensure the brands they touch are current, innovative, and always looking forward.

They need to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and be comfortable working on all sorts of briefs—pitching big ideas, crafting social campaigns, designing logos and visual systems, and thinking through brand acts and experiences.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • Agency‑side or brand‑side experience working with or at global brands.
  • Brand designer with a portfolio of highly successful creative, brand development, and multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience on campaigns that have driven outsized business results and won industry recognition.
  • Experience thinking through design systems and brand visual systems.
  • Excellent presenter and communicator to sell in creative.
  • Role models aspirational behaviors of leading courageously, obsessing about customers, collaborating as one Visa, and executing with excellence.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem‑solving skills.
  • Resourceful with a strong sense of accountability and results‑oriented drive.
  • Ability to initiate and drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects with strategic implications for the brand and company.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: 5–10% of the time.

Position performed in an office setting; requires sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and operating standard office equipment.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,700 to 139,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors. The position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
