Job Description / Primary Objective

Due to the continued growth of our company and the increasing demand for architecture and design services in Southern California, we are seeking a talented Designer. The role involves working on various public and private development projects across Southern California and the United States, including new constructions and renovations.

The Designer will collaborate with our team throughout all project phases, from client meetings and pre-design research to schematic design and construction documentation. The role requires proficiency in computer-aided design programs to produce visual representations of designs.

The responsibilities include:

• Applying architectural design principles to prepare drawings and plans for commercial, public, multi-family residential, and mixed-use projects using AutoCAD;
• Understanding client needs, industry standards, and project-specific requirements such as space purpose, technology needs, and layout;
• Developing material specifications, color schemes, equipment, cost estimates, and timelines;
• Assisting in interior space planning with aesthetic considerations;
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, project managers, and staff to produce accurate design documentation;
• Conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies;
• Ensuring documentation aligns with design intent;
• Communicating effectively with consultants and team members to monitor project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, or related field;
• At least 6 months of experience in architectural and interior design;
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and AutoCAD.
