Architectural Captain

Christopher Courts Inc is a Los Angeles based architecture firm that offers a creative and collaborative work environment with a growing portfolio of work that specializes in crafting private homes and estates across the country.

Currently, we are seeking a Architectural
Job Captain who can help contribute to all projects from inception to completion. A Job Captain will have a thorough understanding of construction documents in addition to retaining and understanding of all of the parties involved and the delivery of the work that they are responsible for.

• 2-6 years of professional office experience.
• Passion for high-end residential architecture and construction.
• Experience with Revit in an office environment working on real-world projects.
• Experience with the compilation, drafting, and coordination of permit and construction documents.
• A highly efficient self-starter who can identify and solve both simple and complex problems with principal guidance.
• A drive to constantly learn, improve, and contribute to the evolution of this young, rising office.
• High-end analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong writing, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, rendering, digital fabrication, and graphics
• The ability to condense, categorize, and present research and ideas

• Experience in custom residential design.
• Interest and ability to move fluidly between the design and the construction of our projects.
• In-depth experience with the following software:
  Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word & Excel, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Currently a resident of Los Angeles or willing to commute.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
