Project Architect

Arquitectonica is an award-winning, design-focused architecture and planning firm with a worldwide practice of over 500 employees located in eleven offices. Our Los Angeles office is seeking Architects with 6–10 years of experience to join our team. Projects include luxury residential, office, hospitality, and mixed-use/retail.

As a Project Architect at Arquitectonica, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the design, documentation, and construction of our projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and have the opportunity to join our company for a career that promises to be both challenging and rewarding.

• Understand both architectural design and documentation processes, including all project stages.
• Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materials.
• Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches.
• Generate and execute red‑lined revisions.
• Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants.
• Analyze and prepare program, space planning and area calculations.
• Work independently and with your team to meet project budgetary and schedule constraints.
• Participation in regular project team, client and contractor meetings.
• Regular communication with the designated Project Manager.
• Construction Administration experience and capabilities preferred but not required.

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years’ continuous professional post‑graduate working experience.
• Technical experience using Revit and BIM
  360 including:
  • Use of multiple worksets and grouping.
  • Awareness of visibility graphics and view templates.
  • General knowledge of publishing, packaging, and consuming models.
• Ability to use 3D modeling software, including Rhino.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience in all phases and aspects of a project.
• Experience in detailing and construction documentation.
• Experience with multifamily and mixed‑use projects; office experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team members.
• Problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learn.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• Licensure or ARE progress with licensure expected within 2 years.
