Nu Watt is a fast-growing, family-owned lighting company looking for a reliable Customer Support Specialist with experience working with lighting products (LED fixtures, lamps, retrofits, recessed lighting, or similar).
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and supporting contractors, homeowners, and business accounts. You’ll be the go-to contact for orders, returns, warranties, and general product guidance.
What You’ll Do- Answer customer calls, emails, and live chat inquiries
- Provide guidance on lighting products and solutions based on customer needs
- Assist business and residential customers with account setup, quotes, and order support
- Manage warranty registrations, RMAs, and returns
- Issue RMA numbers and provide return tracking updates
- Escalate technical questions to in-house staff when needed
- Follow up to ensure all issues are resolved positively
- Support customers via social media and other digital channels
- Experience in Lighting Industry (LED fixtures, lamps, retrofits, recessed lighting, or similar)
- Familiarity with lighting terminology, specifications, and basic installation concepts
- Experience using CRM or customer service tools (Zendesk, Zoho, Hub Spot, etc.)
- Ability to provide accurate product quotes using spreadsheets or quoting software
- Knowledge of warranty, RMA, and return processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, VoIP, and live chat platforms
- Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, etc.)
- Familiarity with customer support on social media or live chat tools
- Team-oriented, supportive office environment
