ACCESS San Fernando Valley is looking for individuals like you to join our growing Client Care Team!
ACCESS in San Fernando Valley is one of the largest multispecialty referral hospitals in Southern California. We understand a visit to the hospital is stressful for our pet parents, and our Client Care Team are the “first faces” of a pet’s visit to the hospital. This role is essential to the success of our hospital.
Our pay ranges begin at $18 - $22/ hour depending on existing experience.
Shift differentials: 7pm-11pm = +$2/hour | 11pm-7am = +$3/hour | any shift on Saturdays and Sundays = +$2/hour
What makes the best candidates?- Have a desire to help people through what is often a stressful event in their lives
- Minimum two years of experience in a customer service role (prior veterinary experience preferred)
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently in a clear and audible voice
- Answer incoming calls, triaging urgent messages, directing calls to appropriate department
- Effectively communicate/resolve client questions via phone and email
- Maintain an empathetic and compassionate demeanor when working with our pet parents
- Assist referring hospitals with questions in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain medical records
- Triage incoming requests
- Guide clients through check-in, discharge, check out
- Handle financial transactions
- Facilitate medication requests
- Effectively communicate/resolve client questions via phone and email
- Work closely with our medical teams to ensure a positive outcome at each visit
