Floor Staff – Nuart Theatre
Join Landmark Theatres as Floor Staff with a focus on delivering a sophisticated entertainment experience. Work in Box Office, Concession, Usher, or Kitchen as needed. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Base Pay Range$17.87/hour
Essential Duties & Expectations- Box Office
- Greet and welcome customers.
- Assist with movie/seat selection and answer general questions.
- Provide friendly and efficient service, resolving customer concerns.
- Process transactions and payments via point‑of‑sale system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide theatre information.
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy, passes, vouchers, refunds/exchanges, and inventory.
- Check and update marquee and displays.
- Knowledgeable of amenities associated with each film.
- Assist customers with hard‑of‑hearing and closed‑caption devices.
- Concession
- Greet and welcome customers.
- Upsell and suggestively sell concession items with each transaction.
- Process transactions via POS.
- Operate and maintain all concession and kitchen equipment.
- Perform daily opening and closing duties.
- Receive and stock deliveries.
- Comply with food safety and alcohol service laws.
- Knowledgeable of concession products and film‑related amenities.
- Assist customers with hard‑of‑hearing and closed‑caption devices.
- Usher
- Greet and welcome customers.
- Make auditorium announcements (promotions and safety information).
- Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, auditoriums, restrooms, and back‑of‑house areas.
- Assist customers with locating seats.
- Control theatre access, ensuring ticket validity and directing to correct auditorium.
- Monitor picture, sound, temperature, and disruptive behavior.
- Report safety and security concerns to management.
- Assist customers with hard‑of‑hearing and closed‑caption devices.
- Light janitorial support.
- Minimum age 16 or 18 years old.
- Committed to exceptional customer service.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Accurate cash handling and math skills.
- Availability during peak hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to interact with the public.
- Ability to work independently.
- Can lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Complies with attendance and dress code policy.
