Overview
Leading Beauty Group is seeking a Creative Project Operations Manager who lives at the intersection of creativity and operations. In this role, you’ll be the engine behind a high-volume creative team, ensuring campaigns and content move smoothly from concept to launch across digital, social, e-commerce, and experiential channels. You’ll partner closely with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, and Merchandising, keeping projects organized, stakeholders aligned, and deadlines on track in a fast-paced beauty-driven environment.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Own creative projects end-to-end, from brief through delivery, including seasonal campaigns, direct mail, e-commerce/email, social content, events, and special initiatives.
- Translate ideas into clear project plans: define scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and milestones with key partners.
- Build and manage detailed schedules; drive the day-to-day workflow across internal creative, production, post-production, and external vendors.
- Traffic work through project management systems, track progress, and keep teams informed so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, anticipate shifts in priorities, and quickly adjust plans while maintaining clarity for all stakeholders.
- Lead the approval process: route work to stakeholders, schedule review meetings, set agendas, and ensure assets are presentation-ready.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and costs, proactively identifying bottlenecks and recommending smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- Develop and roll out process tools such as creative brief templates, documentation, and repeatable workflows to streamline execution.
- Run post-mortems to capture learnings and continuously improve how the creative team operates.
- Support the organization and governance of creative assets (imagery, photo, video, audio, fonts) in alignment with DAM/CMS best practices.
- A detail-obsessed, highly organized, and proactive mindset; you love turning chaos into clarity.
- Comfort working under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards for quality and service.
- Proven experience building processes, documentation, and templates that help teams move faster and smarter.
- Strong understanding of print, digital, photo, and motion production processes.
- Experience managing creative digital assets and working within DAM/CMS environments, including metadata, taxonomy, and SEO-informed organization.
- Ability to design logical data structures (architecture maps, naming conventions) that make assets easy to find and use.
- A track record of elevating creative operations and increasing output without sacrificing creativity.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- High ownership and accountability for planning, delivery, and follow-through on every project.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in beauty, fashion, or an advertising/creative agency setting.
- Expertise managing projects across the full lifecycle—from concept to final delivery—especially for photo and motion content.
- Hands-on experience overseeing 360° brand campaigns and coordinating deliverables across multiple channels.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools;
Asana and Figma experience is required.
