Overview

Join the team that brings stories to life! This LA-based role is at the heart of the post‑production process for Paramount Television Studios, ensuring every episode is polished, delivered on time, and meets the highest creative and technical standards. You’ll be the key connector between production teams, editorial, vendors, and studio executives—driving workflows from picture edit to final delivery and making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities
  • Create preliminary post‑production schedules for all scripted PTVS series and work closely with show post‑production teams to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date post schedules
  • Maintain and update internal tracking systems with key post‑production dates, including all cut phases, picture and sound finishing dates, QC, and delivery
  • Update and distribute post‑production procedures to show post teams
  • Onboard show post teams to studio systems
  • Coordinate with Legal departments to collect NDA forms for prospective hires and vendors
  • Create and distribute pre‑crew deal memos for show post hires
  • Work closely with VP Post‑Production to manage final delivery paperwork submission to studio and network
  • Manage credits approval process between the show post teams and studio credits department, legal, production, and creative, and ensure accurate screen credits
  • Liaise between studio post, post operations, music, VFX, production, and creative to ensure clear communication on all elements of post processes
  • Resolve technical or scheduling issues promptly
  • Other assigned duties as requested
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film/TV Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field, preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in post‑production, with a well‑developed background in television
  • Knowledge of post‑production workflows, including editing, sound mixing, color grading, and VFX
  • Knowledge of industry‑standard software such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Pro Tools
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and vendor negotiations

  • Experience using Movie Magic and Airtable

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600..

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This position is bonus eligible.
