• Executes basic alteration services (hem, patch, repair, tapering, etc.) and more technical alterations, such as fitting/tailoring items other than jeans where more technical equipment is needed; detailed appearance altering processes.
• Exemplifies strong customer service skills to elevate the client experience.
• Educates and trains store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop.

• Thorough understanding of the denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
• Understanding of textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.
• Awareness of design and details; strong communication skills both internally and externally.

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Formal training in apparel design preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of sewing/tailoring experience and strong knowledge of jeans construction.
• Thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.

While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; use hands to type and utilize the tools of tailoring shop. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts.
