Role OverviewThe Social Media Content Creator is a hands-on creative role at the center of the company’s social media efforts. You will bring characters, stories, and brand moments to life across global digital platforms by producing high-quality, fast-turnaround content designed to spark engagement and strengthen community.
Working closely with the Manager, Social Media, and the broader marketing team, this role offers meaningful creative ownership, the freedom to experiment with trends and formats, and the opportunity to shape how a global audience connects with the brand. This position is ideal for a digitally native creator who thrives in a high-energy environment and is passionate about storytelling, culture, and fandom.
Responsibilities- Create, edit, and publish engaging content across platforms including Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, You Tube, X, and Facebook, posting multiple times per week as needed.
- Partner closely with social media leadership to ensure content aligns with strategy, stakeholder priorities, and approval workflows.
- Capture content at brand, marketing, and industry events and represent the brand on camera when appropriate.
- Produce a wide range of media formats including short-form video, photography, GIFs, montages, and live content.
- Identify and act quickly on trends, cultural moments, and emerging formats that resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, licensing, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Optimize content by platform to maximize reach, engagement, and shareability.
- Stay current on platform updates, best practices, and evolving audience behaviors.
- 1 to 3 years of experience creating social media content, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Deep understanding of major social platforms, their audiences, and best practices.
- Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to translate narratives into compelling social content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, creative mindset with openness to feedback.
- Genuine interest in entertainment, storytelling, and online communities.
- Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or PowerPoint.
- Experience engaging directly with online communities or fandom-driven audiences.
