For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles.

About the RoleWe are seeking a Creative Producer, Video & Photo to lead hands‑on video and photo production from concept to final delivery. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and partners with cross‑functional leadership to create compelling visual content that brings Apex’s spacecraft, technology, and mission to life.
This is a highly hands‑on role for a producer who personally shoots, edits, and delivers content—while also helping build the camera, workflow, and content systems that enable consistent, high‑quality output as the company scales.
ResponsibilitiesLead end‑to‑end video production, including concepting, briefing, shooting, editing, and final delivery
Personally shoot and edit video content across a range of formats (product storytelling, brand content, campaigns, events, behind‑the‑scenes)
Capture high‑quality photography for marketing use, including hardware, people, facilities, and events
Build and maintain camera, production, and content workflows to support repeatable, scalable output
Own video projects from initial idea through post‑production and delivery, balancing creative quality with speed
Partner with marketing leadership to translate brand strategy and technical concepts into visual stories
Manage post‑production workflows including editing, colour, basic sound design, and asset delivery
Organise, maintain, and archive video and photo assets for ongoing use
Support occasional external vendors or freelancers as needed, while remaining hands‑on with core production
4–7 years of experience in hands‑on video production or creative production
Proven experience leading video projects end‑to‑end, from concepting and briefing through shooting and editing
Strong hands‑on shooting and editing skills; comfortable owning production personally
Experience operating cinema cameras (preferably Sony), lighting equipment, and audio equipment
Proficiency with professional video editing tools and workflows, including Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience building and maintaining camera, production, and content systems
Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, startup environment and adapting to changing priorities
Willingness to travel or work outside of standard business hours to capture content as needed
Sound design experience and/or motion graphics experience (After Effects)
Interest in space, aerospace, or advanced technology
Startup or high‑growth company experience
