The Creative Strategist, Social Media helps shape the strategy, vision, voice, and impact of Prager

U’s social media presence. This role blends creative instincts with strategic insight to deliver bold, culturally relevant content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate understands conservative culture, knows what performs on each platform, and is passionate about growing and engaging digital communities through compelling, values-driven storytelling.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify trending news stories and cultural moments quickly, and produce timely content that connects the moment to Prager

    U’s mission and message.
  • Use strong editorial judgment to determine which stories and trends are worth responding to, and how to do so in a way that sparks meaningful conversation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media content with broader campaign goals and maintain consistent messaging and visual style.
  • Track performance metrics, test new formats, and continuously refine content strategy to expand reach and increase audience impact.
  • Create engaging, on-brand social media content from start to finish. This includes videos, memes, carousels, and graphics using tools like Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, Canva, etc.
  • Develop both daily reactive content based on breaking news and trends, as well as planned content tied to ongoing campaigns and major initiatives.
  • Create and develop social media-driven campaigns to promote Prager

    U’s premier content lines, ensuring strong alignment with brand voice and company goals.
  • Write compelling, platform-specific copy that grabs attention, drives engagement, and reflects Prager

    U’s tone and values.
Successful Candidates Will Possess
  • 7-10+ years of experience in content creation, social media platform management, or digital marketing, with a portfolio that showcases strong storytelling across formats.
  • Exceptional narrative skills with the ability to turn current events and cultural moments into compelling, timely content that aligns with and advances Prager

    U’s mission, values, and content library.
  • Strong hands‑on video editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, and Canva to create polished, engaging social content.
  • Excellent writing abilities and platform‑savvy voice, adaptable across X, Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Facebook, and more.
  • A self‑starter mindset with the ability to move fast, make smart editorial decisions, and deliver high‑quality content with minimal oversight.
  • Track performance metrics, test new formats, and continuously refine content strategy to expand reach and increase audience impact.
  • A deep understanding of the news cycle and social trends, plus strong alignment with Prager

    U’s mission and message.

Salary Range

The salary target for this role is $100,000 - $125,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
