Complex is seeking a Social Producer, Tik Tok to own and grow the day‑to‑day Tik Tok presence for Complex Shop and Complex’s IRL events (including Complex Con, Family Style, and other cultural activations). This is a mid‑level role for a hands‑on creator, strategist, and community builder who knows how to speak Tik Tok’s language, drive cultural relevance, and convert audience attention into measurable brand and commerce impact.
The ideal candidate is a social content creator expert that has 3–5+ years of direct Tik Tok experience for consumer, e‑commerce, or entertainment‑driven brands (e.g. streetwear, sports, music, or lifestyle), and is fluent in both native Tik Tok content creation and community growth.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Develop and execute a Tik Tok‑first content calendar for Complex Shop and IRL events.
- Concept, shoot, & edit native‑style Tik Tok content (short‑form video, photo, trends, product features, behind‑the‑scenes, etc.).
- This person knows what is on‑trend and how to create content that resonates with target audiences.
- Ensure creative output is aligned with Complex’s brand voice and optimized for Tik Tok culture and algorithms.
- Influencer & Creator Network:
- Build and manage a network of on‑air talent that can be featured across content.
- Handle outreach, negotiation, briefs, and relationship management with talent.
- Campaign Execution:
- Partner with merchandising, events, marketing studio, and growth teams to bring product drops and event experiences to life on Tik Tok.
- Launch Tik Tok‑native content tied to commerce, content, and cultural moments.
- Drive measurable results across awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Analytics & Insights:
- Monitor Tik Tok analytics and platform trends, making real‑time adjustments to content strategy.
- Report on performance, learnings, and ROI to marketing leadership.
