As a Field Intern, you will assist with the daily coordination, documentation, and execution of construction activities ’ll gain practical experience in jobsite operations, document control, project logistics, and field supervision while working alongside our project leadership team.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily field reports, safety, and jobsite documentation
- Attend and document coordination meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders
- Track RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries
- Support quality control efforts and field inspections
- Help maintain construction schedules and manpower logs
- Learn and apply airport‑specific protocols and access requirements
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics teams
- Ensure documentation is organized and compliant with project requirements
- Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Superintendent
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related program
- Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Ability to work onsite at LAX and obtain airport badging/security clearance
- Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment
- Self‑motivated and dependable team player
- Monday to Friday
- Onsite at LAX – field work required (must be comfortable in an active jobsite environment)
- Full‑time preferred during internship period (flexible for students with class schedules)
