Estimator, Construction, Civil Engineering

• Leads estimating efforts for mid-to-large projects or defined scopes on major pursuits, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
• Interprets drawings, specifications, and commercial documents to develop quantity take-offs and pricing assumptions.
• Prepares conceptual and detailed estimates for various delivery models and supports bid documentation and proposal development.
• Assesses project risks and opportunities and maintains organized estimate files for handover to operations.
• Participates in bid-day activities and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to develop execution strategies, schedules, and budgets.
• Presents final pricing recommendations to senior leadership and provides guidance to supporting estimators.

• Post-secondary education in a construction-related discipline or equivalent trade experience.
• 5+ years of progressive construction estimating experience; field exposure is an asset.
• Experience leading pursuits valued at $100M+ across multiple delivery models.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, estimating best practices, and bid closing processes.
• Ability to develop conceptual estimates, evaluate market conditions, and work effectively with internal teams and trade partners.
• Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and emerging digital tools.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $185,000
, dependent on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined through a customized offer process.
