Destination Enterprises (DE) is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support estimates across design, value engineering, pre-construction, procurement, and construction phases for complex infrastructure and systems projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and administer cost estimates from concept through construction
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of estimates at all project phases
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFPs/RFQs, and construction documents
- Develop estimates using current market pricing, regionally specific pricing, labor usage, and historical cost data
- Analyze and evaluate proposals from contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Support construction schedules, RFIs, project utilization plans, and logistics planning
- Participate in cost, budget, change order, and risk mitigation meetings
- Assist with change analysis and development and/or validation of control budgets
- Respond to estimate-related inquiries professionally and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical field (required)
- 5+ years of estimating experience in the United States
- Minimum 5 years of electrical and systems estimating experience

- Train control systems
- Related infrastructure systems
- Strong knowledge and application of:
- Construction estimating and cost controls
- Project controls and scheduling
- Engineering and construction principles, materials, and methods
- Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, drawings, and technical specifications
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to estimate accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
