Assistant Project Engineer

• Develop, process, record, and control documentation both internally and with the contractor/customer (Plans, RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.).
• Support project team with project coordination.
• Assist in pulling permits as directed.
• Regular correspondence with the contractor, supplier, engineer, PM, and field staff in gathering and distributing pertinent information throughout the project.
• Assist purchasing department in preparation of procurement of construction materials.
• Quality assurance checks on the front end to proactively mitigate potential issues.
• Assist PM with:
  • Field support
  • Schedule of values billing
  • Work In Progress (WIP)
  • BIM coordination overview
  • Collections

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years of experience are preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Plumbing trade or construction experience is a plus.
