Southern California - Construction Inspector - Water Main & Water Meter Retrofit Project
Position: Southern California - Construction Inspector - Water Main & Water Meter Retrofit Project
Hourly: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road - Southern California (Ventura County, Los Angeles County, & San Diego County)
Duties:- Water Utility/Pipeline/Water Meter Inspection.
- Utilities Water Troubleshooting.
- Hot tapping on existing water mains.
- Water system installation of new pipelines, replacement, and repairs.
- Hydrostatic Pressure testing.
- Inspection of various types of pipelines including Ductile Iron pipe.
- Inspecting various projects that include but are not limited to Water main Replacements, Reservoirs, New Installations, Booster Pump Stations, etc.
- Overseeing General Contractors.
- Ensuring that the projects are in compliance with the codes, construction documents, contracts and meet client’s specifications.
- Must be knowledgeable with Ductile Iron Pipe.
- Must be able to read drawings, plans and permits.
- Must be able to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft Word.
- Must be able to take photos and insert them into daily inspection reports.
