Production Assistant, ATTF

Job Summary

A Production Assistant at ATTF supports day-to-day production operations by coordinating, scheduling, communicating, and handling logistics to keep projects moving smoothly. This role helps production teams with administrative tasks, documentation, purchasing support, and on-the-ground coordination, while also assisting with tracking timelines, deliverables, and resources. The Production Assistant contributes to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment and provides hands-on support during builds, installs, or production activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily shopping runs for art supplies and construction materials
  • Purchase items, art supplies and materials both online and in stores. Errand running for production materials is a high need on site.
  • Use Google Sheets and Drive to manage a record of purchases
  • Scan and maintain files for all receipts to share with the admin assistant
  • Maintain an organized shop space
  • Light office furniture assembly work
  • Emptying trash
  • Maintaining clean paint brushes and rollers
  • Maintaining paint water disposal system
  • Communicate with admin assistant to maintain budget for each anchor space
  • Maintaining supply of snacks / water / drinks for ATTF
  • Artwork protection - scanning exhibit daily for artwork needing protection with plastic and ram board
  • Protecting and storing art works in progress before installation
  • Perform and maintain inventory of production materials
  • Maintaining rental truck gas, tire pressure, and cleanliness
  • Support production coordinator to maintain documentation of paint samples used in murals and frosting for ops handover
Required Qualifications
  • Driver s license, insurance, and ability to drive a box truck and/or large pickup truck
  • Proficient with tools used to assemble furniture and equipment
  • Familiarity with woodshop tools and hardware
  • Familiarity with paint and paint tools
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to communicate with artists and team members from a variety of personalities, backgrounds, and artistic disciplines
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Proficient with Google Sheets

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and scanners. This position also works in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects, including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines, and small and/ or enclosed spaces.
