HC is a boutique, high‑touch recruiting firm built by operators, for operators—helping growth‑stage technology and media companies hire exceptional Go‑To‑Market, Product, and Operations talent. We’re seeking a Chief of Staff to partner directly with our Founder in driving the next phase of growth. This person will combine analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and relationship‑building skills to help scale the firm across business development, client management, and internal operations.
This is a highly visible, client‑facing leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys both the strategy and execution sides of building a business.
- Lead business development and ecosystem relationship management across SaaS, AdTech, Fin Tech, and related markets.
- Build and nurture relationships with founders, executives, and venture investors to generate new retained, RPO, and advisory engagements.
- Represent Accelerate
HC at key industry and VC ecosystem events. - Structure and negotiate partnership and client agreements that balance short‑term success with long‑term relationship value.
- Serve as point of contact for top client relationships; ensure best‑in‑class experience and results.
- Oversee account operations—from kickoff to close—to ensure delivery excellence.
- Manage quarterly business reviews, pricing discussions, and scope renewals.
- Partner closely with recruiters and sourcers to maintain consistent quality, speed, and communication.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with the Founder to set priorities, forecast pipeline, and manage key firm initiatives.
- Analyze data on revenue, margins, and performance to guide decision‑making.
- Evaluate and launch new service lines (e.g., fractional leadership, consulting, equity‑based recruiting).
- Own elements of pricing strategy, compensation design, and resource planning.
- Improve operational systems—including CRM, ATS workflows, and reporting dashboards.
- Help shape the go‑to‑market and thought leadership strategy—partnering on marketing, content, and VC network engagement.
- Lead competitive analysis and benchmarking for new service pricing and positioning.
- Mentor junior team members in sourcing, business development, and operations.
- Act as a strategic advisor and execution partner to the Founder—bringing structure, insight, and accountability to every part of the business.
- 8–15 years of experience in business development, operations, management consulting, or strategy—ideally within recruiting, SaaS, or professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier university (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen—able to model scenarios, evaluate ROI, and derive insights from data.
- Excellent communicator and negotiator with executive presence.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a lean, fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Work directly with the Founder of a profitable, growing firm that has earned trust with top‑tier tech and media clients.
- Influence firm‑wide strategy, service innovation, and operations—not just execute tasks.
