Overview

We build private, invite-only membership communities for top professionals, starting with leading investors in venture capital and the limited partners who back them. Across our communities, we have ~250 members from firms like a16z, Founders Fund, Khosla, & more. Over time, we’ll expand into other professional verticals like private equity, founders and CEOs, and operators. Our goal is to build world-class networks where top people connect in a non-transactional, genuinely social way.

Role

This is a founding, 0-1 growth role
.

You’ll own the entire process of bringing new, world-class members into our communities, from first outreach to final acceptance. This is not a traditional sales role. It’s highly relationship-driven, selective, and taste-based.

You’ll be the first human touch for most prospective members and act as a kind of charismatic gatekeeper to a very curated room of people who collectively help manage $250B+.

Who this is for
  • Early-career, with ~1-2 years in sales, fundraising, IR, partnerships, or BD
  • Extremely likable, socially fluent, and comfortable talking to anyone
  • Loves people, conversations, and building real relationships
  • Strong judgment and good taste

You're entrepreneurial and excited by 0-1 ownership, and motivated by the idea of being the “CEO” of your own function and deciding how the work gets done.

You’ll spend your days relationship-building with some of the most impressive investors and operators in the world. The network you build here can unlock almost anything next: starting a fund, joining a firm, becoming an LP, starting a company, or working at one.

As context: the first hire from a prior community Max founded went on to build their own membership community to ~200 members, generating $600k+ in annual revenue.

The tradeoff

You may make less than at a top AI company or in a pure fundraising role. But you’ll be paid to build a world-class network, talk to top GPs and LPs every day, and put yourself in rooms that compound for the rest of your career.

For the right person, this is an exceptional move before committing to a long-term path.

Compensation

$150,000 USD base with meaningful upside (total comp ~ $250,000).
