About

The Role

Peak Ventures is looking for a talented business analyst to help supercharge our new marketing initiatives!

The ideal candidate will be able to translate marketing performance data into actionable insights for our marketing teams, create and automate visual reports and dashboards for use across the business, and conduct predictive analyses to provide campaign optimization recommendations.

This person thrives in a dynamic, startup-like environment, enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, and has a strong curiosity and hands-on approach.

Location

This is a hybrid, on-site role based out of our Venice, CA headquarters. It is not remote-eligible so candidates must be located in the Los Angeles area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create data-driven strategies to boost revenue growth for our owned and operated properties.
  • Track account performance, analyze results, and identify opportunities for improvement to achieve quarterly revenue and profitability goals.
  • Provide innovative creative recommendations and reporting to both internal and external teams.
  • Develop, refine, and automate reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights, enabling relevant teams to make quicker, more informed decisions.
  • Share performance updates with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a business-wide understanding of strategy, ROI, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the product team to implement tests aimed at increasing conversion rates and revenue per session.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or another business-related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in performance marketing reporting and data analysis is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the capability to confidently identify marketing opportunities, data discrepancies, evaluate risks, and address issues proactively.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel is essential. Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain and present quantitative insights to team members.
  • Comfortable with economic principles and profit modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Adapt quickly to changing environments, thriving in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exudes confidence and embraces challenges without hesitation.
