PT Customs Entry Writer

This is a part-time, remote role for a PT Customs Entry Writer located preferably on the West Coast. The role includes preparing and processing customs entries for inbound shipments, reviewing import documentation for accuracy and compliance, and ensuring timely customs clearance. The Customs Entry Writer will coordinate with customs offices, freight forwarders, and internal teams to identify and resolve any issues related to shipment details.

The position also requires efficient tracking and reporting, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Proficiency in Customs Brokerage, and familiarity with trade law and customs regulations
• Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and processing accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to interact with customs offices, clients, and internal teams
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with sound problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for documentation and tracking
