The Senior Relationship Manager, Insurance General Accounts leads strategic relationship management for Capital Group’s Insurance General Accounts business. This role deepens client engagement, drives revenue growth, and delivers exceptional service delivery by aligning investment and risk solutions with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for general account clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategic expansion into the insurance general account segment, including internal readiness.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Investment, Product, Operations, Compliance & Legal to deliver tailored solutions.
- Analyze client portfolios to identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and partner with compliance, legal, and investment teams.
- Partner with retail insurance business development on firm strategy and coverage for Life & Annuity.
- Represent Capital Group at industry events, conferences, and consultant forums.
- 10+ years of relationship management with a proven track record managing large, complex accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the insurance landscape and technical knowledge of investment strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; CFA and/or advanced business degree preferred.
- Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) and 24 licenses required.
$217,000 – $261,000 base salary, plus two annual bonuses and a generous retirement contribution.
