Role Summary

We’re seeking a hands-on E-Commerce Operations Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end eCommerce and operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment and enjoys balancing strategic ownership with day-to-day execution. You’ll manage product ordering, inventory planning, warehouse operations, returns, customer service, and supply chain logistics, while overseeing all core eCommerce operations.

This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, improving customer experience, and building scalable systems as the brand grows. This is an in-person,
contract-to-hire position in Downtown Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Order Operations

  • Own daily eCommerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, shipping accuracy, and delivery timelines
  • Manage Shopify backend operations, including product uploads, pricing, descriptions, inventory syncing, and site maintenance
  • Ensure operational readiness for launches, promotions, and seasonal drops
  • Manage post office drop-offs and daily operational errands, including driving to pick up and deliver inventory, orders, supplies, and materials as needed to support business operations

Inventory, Ordering & Supply Chain Management

  • Place and manage product orders with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Manage mail carriers and logistics partners (e.g., USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL), including rate negotiations, service levels, pickup scheduling, and issue resolution
  • Oversee import transactions and international shipments, coordinating documentation, customs requirements, duties, and freight forwarders to ensure compliant and timely delivery
  • Forecast inventory needs and manage replenishment cycles to support sales demand
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, reconciliation, and system tracking
  • Own inbound and outbound logistics coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain and logistics partners

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and organization
  • Oversee inventory flow between warehouse, studio, photoshoots, pop-ups, and other business needs
  • Implement and maintain warehouse processes, SOPs, and organization systems
  • Ensure efficient picking, packing, and shipment workflows
  • Physically assist with warehouse operations as needed (lifting up to 30 lbs)

Customer Service & Returns Management

  • Own the end-to-end customer service experience across all channels (email, DTC platform, etc.)
  • Develop and manage workflows for customer inquiries, order issues, exchanges, and refunds
  • Oversee the returns process, including intake, inspection, restocking, disposition, and refund execution
  • Track return reasons and customer feedback to identify trends and operational improvements
  • Support evolving business needs by taking ownership of ad hoc operational projects and priorities
  • Assist with special initiatives, launches, pop-ups, or cross-functional projects as needed
  • Handle time-sensitive errands and on-site operational tasks to ensure day-to-day business continuity
  • Support photoshoot and marketing operations by coordinating inventory pulls and transporting product to and from shoot locations, and ensuring accurate tracking before and after shoots
  • Create and maintain line sheets, product catalogs, SKU trackers, and operational documentation
  • Maintain clean, accurate product lifecycle tracking from production through fulfillment
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of experience in eCommerce operations, retail operations, or fashion operations
  • Proven experience managing order fulfillment, customer service, returns, inventory, and warehouse operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
