The Role

The Senior Manager, LA28 Partner Relations will be a crucial utility and team player on the On Location LA28 Stakeholder team, which develops, manages, and services LA28 sponsorship partners across all On Location products. This role will primarily support LA28 Partner Relations as work streams through partner plans and needs for the upcoming LA28 Olympic Games. The position works in tandem with Stakeholder team leads and other Partner Relations Account leads and teams including sales, marketing, legal, and operations to meet partner expectations and to create efficient processes and a positive working environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Business Operations
  • Become an expert in LA28 products, sales processes, technology platforms, marketing and sales collateral, and functional areas/structure
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all functional areas / work streams, including content, marketing, sales operations, systems integration and technology
  • Proactive, timely, and detail-oriented reporting of sales efforts through reporting structures (including Salesforce and Airtable)
  • Maintain working knowledge in the following areas: LA28 Partnership Roster;
    All LA28 products available for stakeholder purchase;
    Timelines and rollouts for all LA28 milestone dates;
    Competition venue locations and event schedules
  • Support team leads in managing and trafficking the contracting process, including negotiations, escalations, and approvals/signatures
  • Interface with internal finance teams to manage accounting processes to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner while protecting On Location’s interests
  • Maintain client records in CRM/database (Salesforce) and inventory management systems
  • Analyze and review financials relating to post-event sales, event expenses, payments, reconciliations, client reporting, and general ledger allocations
  • Ensure understanding and alignment with On Location business objectives and client needs
  • Execute other duties as assigned, including discretionary administrative work such as meeting notes and expense reporting
  • Business Development and Communication
  • Partner with team leaders to develop and maintain relationships with LA28 Stakeholder clients, driving long-term sales across LA28 and On Location properties through regular client calls, presentations, and emails
  • Identify unique hospitality requirements of each partner and design optimal product and program solutions based on partner/business objectives
  • Support the Partner Relations team in creating content to advance sales and client management objectives (stakeholder communications, guides, newsletters, etc.)
  • Manage the process of authoring and editing proposal materials, assembling RFI/RFP responses and presentation decks, and submitting documents into client portals
  • Research, gather, organize, author, and edit other materials (executive summaries, case studies, conclusions)
  • Maintain collection and documentation of event stakeholder information (e.g., client preferences)
  • Onsite attendance at events and client meetings/site visits as required
