Lulu & Georgia is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working Sourcing Coordinator to join our growing team! You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where multitasking and problem-solving are key. This position requires great attention to detail and excellent organization. You will implement organizational systems and structure to ensure the timely delivery and coordination of products. In this role, you’ll report to our Director Of Sourcing for furniture and lighting and work closely with our international production teams, warehouses, buyers and importation partners.

This is an excellent role for someone interested in product production, logistics, supply chain, and the international economic market.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Sourcing Director in managing vendor placements, lead times, and costing to optimize speed and flexibility for initial orders and reorders
• Review development timelines and production schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with suppliers on sample development, testing, and validation to meet safety standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements
• Track development and photo samples to ensure alignment with calendar milestone dates
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed
• Review and resolve delivery and production challenges in partnership with the Sourcing Director
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with vendors and cross-functional partners
• Review build sheets and update product development and production data
• Manage sourcing documentation, project timelines, reports, and tools such as Airtable and Net Suite (NS)
• Collaborate with designers on project feedback, design modifications, and CAD updates
• Attend and contribute to weekly product development meetings and warehouse sample reviews
• Partner with the Product Development (PD) Coordinator to manage daily PD operations, including sample coordination, container receiving, and photoshoot preparation
• Collaborate with the PD Coordinators and Logistics Manager on inventory tracking, and WIP (work-in-progress) updates
• Work closely with the VP of Product Development/Sourcing and international sourcing offices to shepherd projects from development through launch and early lifecycle

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or product development, ideally in lighting or home decor
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills; able to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business need
• Experience in the lighting industry, especially with international sourcing and the import process
• Familiarity with container building, logistics, and overseas manufacturing timelines
• Reliable transportation for picking up samples and attending in-person warehouse meetings
• Passion for lighting and innovative product development
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to manage high-pressure situations and shifting priorities
