326R277. Databricks is seeking a Strategy and Execution Director to operationalize the corporate strategy by leading the design, implementation and optimization of processes and engagement models. In this you will drive cross‑functional alignment to scale the business for continued hyper‑growth.
- Identify opportunities and drive cross‑functional outcomes to grow and scale Databricks.
- Lead discovery and problem validation by assessing current state, identifying decision points, and grounding opportunities in data, personas and critical user or business journeys.
- Frame and prioritize opportunities by testing assumptions, identifying high‑impact levers, and aligning stakeholders on target‑state outcomes.
- Design end‑to‑end scalable target‑state operations weaving together process design, operating model definition, automation and AI levers to optimize the answer.
- Translate strategy into action through pilots and prototypes, rapidly testing hypotheses, failing fast and iterating based on feedback and measurable results.
- Own operationalizing and delivering on the business outcome in conjunction with cross‑functional business partners while driving alignment with senior leadership.
- Measure quantifiable impact of the outcomes implemented and create well defined KPIs to ensure successful execution of transformations and sustainable improvement.
- 10+ years of experience driving strategic initiatives across many functions, influencing stakeholders VP+.
- Experience in business process improvement, business transformations or corporate strategy with time at a top‑tier consulting firm is a plus.
- Consultative approach, including ability to analyze process flows and identify operational metrics.
- Take a tailored approach to meet the customer / business needs by adjusting behavior and outcomes based on the dynamics of the team, stakeholder and program situation(s).
- Advanced research and analysis skills that you can flex to address a complex problem and or situation.
- Demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems into structured hypotheses, pilots and scalable solutions.
- Communicate complex ideas with authority, influencing stakeholders including Databricks executives and department leadership.
- Experience in the enterprise software industry, SaaS and B2B experience preferred.
- Be self‑driven and show ability to drive decisions on ambiguous asks with incomplete data.
- Comfortable and thrive in a rapidly scaling and dynamic startup environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles.
- Zone 1 Pay Range: $218,800—$306,250 USD
- Zone 2 Pay Range: $196,900—$275,650 USD
- Zone 3 Pay Range: $185,900—$260,300 USD
