Overview
Under the direction of the Department MSO, the Senior Fund Manager is responsible for all aspects of contract and grant activities. This position focuses on pre-award proposal submissions and post-award fund management. Major duties include grant submission process, budget preparation, collation of research materials, collection of subcontract materials and issuance of subcontracts, and management of post-award administration of highly complex multi-million dollar state, federal and private contracts and grants.
This includes financial management of departmental funds, gifts, and faculty discretionary funds, effort reporting, NSTP management, reconciliation of purchasing, travel, and reimbursements, UCPath transactions, and serving as backup when needed. Assist with other projects as needed.

Salary: $5,400 - $11,467 Monthly
Responsibilities- Focus on pre-award proposal submissions and post-award fund management.
- Manage grant submission processes and budget preparation.
- Collate research materials and collect subcontract materials; issue subcontracts.
- Oversee post-award administration of highly complex multi-million dollar contracts and grants from state, federal, and private sources.
- Handle financial management of departmental funds, gifts, and faculty discretionary funds.
- Manage effort reporting, NSTP, purchasing, travel, and reimbursements reconciliation.
- Process UCPath transactions and serve as a backup as needed.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
