Responsibilities for Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant:
- Preparing & editing estate planning documents
- Coordinating executed estate planning documents to be sent to clients
- Witnessing and notarizing estate planning documents
- Directly meeting and communicating with clients
- Heavy calendar management
- Scanning, copying, and filing legal documents
- Preparing mailings, including USPS, Federal Express, and courier
- 4+ years experience preparing estate planning documents
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Some knowledge of probate preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
