Overview
Thompson Coburn, a large full-service law firm with offices in eight cities across the U.S., is in search of a full-time exempt Manager of Attorney Integration to join its office in Chicago, Dallas, New York, St. Louis, Los Angeles or Washington D.C. - Develops and manages integration programs and onboarding plans for entry-level associates, new lateral attorneys, new partners, and groups.
- Coordinates the onboarding and integration initiatives for stakeholders to properly manage the integration process.
- Acts as the main point of contact for new laterals and addresses integration issues.
- Coordinates and collaborates with multiple departments on onboarding and integration efforts.
- Responsible for establishing best practices for onboarding and integration as well as continuously improving integration strategies and materials.
- Responsible for tracking progress, reporting results and documenting lessons learned from each successive integration.

Required
- Must possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills so as to be able to work well with employees at all levels within the organization and maintain all information in the strictest confidence. Required to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues diplomatically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the capability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage urgent matters, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Linked In, and other talent management software.
- Must possess attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects, and strong time management skills.
- Must have the ability to reason and apply common-sense understanding to situations encountered.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
- Minimum of five years of law firm experience working with attorneys in areas such as partner or associate recruitment, integration, professional development, business development, and/or talent management required.
- Bachelor’s degree required. JD degree preferred.
For applicants that meet the experience requirements for the role and are physically based in Los Angeles, CA, the expected salary range is $114,000 - $160,000 annually upon commencement of employment. Starting salary will be determined on an individualized basis with consideration to prior experience and additional qualifications. This is in addition to a comprehensive benefit package offered by the Firm.
