The Temp Office Assistant is responsible for a range of administrative and facilities-related tasks that support smooth day-to-day operations, with the primary responsibility of restocking and maintaining two office kitchens. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, work effectively as part of a team, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Temporary StatusThis is a 6 to 9 month temporary position with the potential to transition into a direct hire opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities- Order groceries weekly and manage daily inventory for two office kitchens
- Order office supplies weekly and maintain ongoing inventory
- Keep kitchens, copy rooms, and all conference rooms clean and organized
- Support the overall appearance and upkeep of the office
- Ensure copy machines are consistently stocked with paper
- Coordinate office activities and events
- Plan and decorate the office for various holidays
- Serve as the point of contact for greeting candidates, new hires, and guests
- Provide backup support for new employee orientation
- Serve as the point person for vendor drop-offs and pick-ups for events
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Assist with packing and mailing large batches of mailers throughout the year
- Run errands as needed
- Order and pick up meals as needed
- Assist with team and office projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- A can-do person with high energy and drive
- Team player with solution-focused attitude
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, stay organized, and focused while multitasking
- Capable of staying organized, focused, and detail-oriented while multitasking
- Must be able to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have a vehicle and clean driving record

The hourly range for this role is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
