Executive Assistant to the President & CEO
A high-profile client of ours is seeking a high-energy, mission-driven Executive Assistant to support a long-tenured President & CEO. This is a unique, high-impact role that goes well beyond traditional administrative support and offers meaningful exposure to executive leadership, board interaction, and grants-related work.
This position is ideal for someone with nonprofit experience who is excited to step into a trusted executive partnership role while staying closely connected to programs, funding, and community impact.
Why This Role Is Different- The President manages her own calendar and travel — this role is strategic, not transactional
- Daily interaction with executive leadership, helping translate priorities into action across departments
- Ownership of a small grants program, including leading weekly meetings, reporting, and compliance
- Exposure to board relations and governance support
- Strong organizational stability and leadership continuity
- Opportunity to grow within a respected, expanding mission-driven organization
- Serve as a trusted partner to the President & CEO, supporting their ability to lead effectively
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on sensitive matters
- Manage and support a grants program, including tracking, reporting, and facilitating meetings
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items
- Support board-related activities and governance processes
- Assist with special projects, events, and cross-functional initiatives
- Anticipate leadership needs and proactively prepare materials for meetings and engagements
- College degree required
- Prior nonprofit experience required
- Background in executive support, program management, or grants administration preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- High discretion, sound judgment, and comfort handling confidential information
