Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits using established procedures to ensure objectives are met and findings are clearly reported
- Review organizational controls to assess their effectiveness in managing financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Analyze data sets and select samples using audit tools to support testing and evaluations
- Present audit results and recommendations to leadership across various departments
- Maintain thorough documentation of audit work to support internal reviews and external reliance
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Ability to assess processes and determine control effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Skilled in using data analysis software to support audit procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple assignments
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time for audit engagements
- Capable of working independently and making sound decisions during audit reviews
- Effective communicator with strong writing and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff, including senior leadership
- Familiarity with internal audit standards and professional frameworks such as IIA guidelines
- Prior experience identifying process improvements and recommending technology solutions to enhance audit value
