Staff Accountant II
This is a full-time hybrid position in our downtown Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, detail oriented, analytical, and possesses excellent communication skills. In a growing boutique firm, our staff accountants enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenges, designed to prepare you for a long-term career in the forensic accounting field.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the fields of accounting, economics or finance is required.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience is required.
- Strong Microsoft desktop skills including proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Public accounting experience in forensic accounting or audit is preferred.
- CPA or desire to pursue CPA designation is preferred.
- Assist in conducting forensic accounting investigations in connection with fraud, economic damages, and business valuation.
- Prepare excel schedules in connection with forensic accounting engagements.
- Review, analyze, and summarize a variety of financial records and business records.
- Perform industry research and other financial research.
- Perform financial and accounting analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of written reports.
- Prepare and maintain workpaper files.
- Perform responsibilities with the upmost degree of integrity, professionalism, and client confidentiality.
The annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience, education, and skill set.
