We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction development industry. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and hands-on problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, month-end close, variance analysis, and job costing.

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data has been recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, make recommendations, and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Implementing and maintaining job costing systems, ensuring all costs are accurately captured and allocated to the appropriate projects.
• Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations, improve processes, and optimize productivity.
• Staying abreast of current trends, developments, and changes in accounting regulations and standards.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Extensive experience with balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, month-end close, variance analysis, and job costing.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
