The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization. This position involves overseeing accounting for various project entities and ensuring accurate financial reporting. A strong understanding of multi‑entity accounting and financial processes is essential for success in this role.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 per year (DOE)
Senior Accountant Responsibilities- Handle accounting for operating project entities
- Manage monthly and quarterly close
- Perform weekly cash reconciliations
- Apply payments and monitor cash activity
- Prepare customer invoices and track collections
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Analyze variances and explain performance
- Support audits, lenders, and investor reporting
- Work with Operations and Asset Management on budgets
- Track actuals vs. budget and assist with forecasts
- Help align financial processes with asset operations
- Help build scalable accounting processes and controls
- Improve systems, workflows, and documentation
- Support the growth of the in‑house finance function
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with multi‑entity accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Public accounting experience required;
Big 4 experience highly preferred - Proficiency in Word and Excel
- ERP experience required;
Workday experience ideal but not mandatory - Real estate or fund‑style accounting background highly preferred
- Experience in the solar industry preferred
- Workday experience highly preferred
- CPA a plus
