District Partners is proud to partner with our client to identify a high-impact Senior Accountant to support team continuity during a critical period of growth. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional partners while contributing to business-critical accounting and reporting initiatives within a fast-paced, high-growth consumer environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in revenue recognition, along with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. This position is well-suited for a hands‑on accounting professional who is comfortable operating independently, thrives in dynamic settings, and values accuracy, ownership, and collaboration.
What You'll Do:- Support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Manage and review revenue streams across wholesale and e-commerce channels
- Assist with and execute key components of the monthly close process
- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and commercial teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Support audit readiness and respond to auditor requests as needed
- Leverage ERP systems and advanced Excel skills to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and system enhancements as appropriate
- 2–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Experience in CPG, retail, or e-commerce environments strongly preferred
- Exposure to wholesale revenue models and complex revenue streams
- Prior experience supporting audits and audit requests
- ERP experience required (Net Suite strongly preferred)
- Experience with major retailers, royalty reporting, and high-volume transactions is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Duration: Approximately 6+ months (January–July 2026)
