Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are working with a client looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

+ Manage and process aspects of accounts receivable, including billing, cash applications, and collections.

+ Generate and review customer invoices using Quick Books, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

+ Monitor aging reports; proactively follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments.

+ Apply incoming payments to customer accounts, accurately reconciling discrepancies.

+ Research and resolve invoicing issues, payment disputes, and account questions.

+ Prepare reports on AR status, collections efforts, and overdue accounts for management review.

+ Maintain accurate and organized customer records and transaction documentation within Quick Books.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls in all receivables operations.

Requirements

+ 4+ years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role.

+ Strong proficiency in Quick Books (required).

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
