We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain customer accounts, and support the finance department in managing invoices and payment records.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely invoices for customers
• Track and monitor outstanding payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Communicate with customers to provide billing information and answer any queries
• Maintain and update customer records with accurate billing information
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to billing activities
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments
• Follow up on overdue payments and initiate collections procedures when necessary
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to billing procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in accounting or finance is preferred
• Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good knowledge of billing procedures and regulations
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
