Dealership Accountant II is a mid‑level position that ensures timely, accurate and consistent recording of dealership transactions. This traditional accounting role manages transactional posting of dealership activities, requiring strong accounting acumen. High performers can advance to Accounting Manager or, with automotive and business acumen, to Business Manager.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible)

Pay:
Salary range $17.87–$31.25 per hour. Anticipated starting pay $27.–$30 per hour (DOE). Final compensation determined in interview stage per pay equity and transparency laws.

• Submission of service contracts
• Submission of warranty contracts
• Recording of used car purchases
• Request and process lien payoffs
• Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, misc.)
• Posting to intercompany accounts
• Posting of new & used car deals
• Process refund checks and customer referral checks
• Warranty cancellations
• Schedule reviews and maintenance (SAR understanding, SPARK notes)
• Understand all product payable lines and reconcile statements
• Other duties as assigned

• Auto industry accounting experience – required
• Entry to mid‑level office and computer skills
• Basic accounting knowledge – familiar with COA, debits and credits
• Ability to quickly review, research and resolve variances
