Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with public accounting audit experience who has a strong grasp of the full set of financial statements and enjoys being hands‑on while also taking ownership of the accounting function. The right candidate is detail‑oriented, growth‑minded, and comfortable operating in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities- Own and oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Manage the month‑end and year‑end close process
, including review and posting of journal entries - Maintain responsibility for the general ledger
, including complex reconciliations and account analysis - Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare and review supporting schedules and work papers tied to financial statements
- Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain, document, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors
, including audit preparation and coordination - Identify accounting issues, risks, and process improvement opportunities; recommend and implement solutions
- Assist with systems optimization and process efficiencies as the company scales
- Handle ad‑hoc reporting, technical accounting questions, and special projects as needed
- Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff as applicable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7+ years of accounting experience
, with a strong preference for public accounting audit experience - Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing full financial statements
- CPA preferred (active or actively pursuing)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Hands‑on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and close
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, take ownership, and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams
