Accounting Specialist / Junior Accountant

A leading heritage luxury fashion and lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles is conducting a search for an Accounting Specialist / Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team.

This role reports directly to the Controller and works closely with the VP of Finance, offering strong exposure across core accounting functions within a fast-growing, brand-driven business. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to build a strong foundation and grow alongside a newly evolving leadership team.

• Process accounts payable invoices and payments with a strong understanding of three-way matching
• Apply accounts receivable cash receipts and assist with payment reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet schedules, including prepaid expenses, depreciation, and credit cards
• Assist with 1099 preparation and filing
• Propose, manage, and maintain vendor payment schedules
• Set up ACH, wire, and credit card payments for weekly executive approval
• Support ad hoc accounting analysis and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Prior experience in an accounting specialist, junior accountant, or similar role preferred
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Full Circle a plus, but not required)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Corporate lunch provided in-office two days per week
