Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Property Accounting Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of monthly rent obligations, including recurring charges and additional occupancy costs.
  • Review property-related invoices and statements to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff while supporting hiring and performance review processes.
  • Track outstanding property expenses and maintain logs for pending reconciliations and unrecorded liabilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support rent remittance, vendor management, and communication with landlords.
Requirements
  • Ability to interpret lease documents and apply terms accurately to financial transactions.
  • Skilled in performing reconciliations related to property expenses, CAM charges, and tenant-landlord accounts.
  • Strong customer service mindset with professionalism in handling inquiries and dispute resolution.
  • Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Capable of maintaining organized workflows while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience with lease administration or property accounting systems commonly used in the industry.
  • Background in commercial real estate, retail, or other multi-location environments.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels.
  • Detail-oriented and self-directed, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
