- The compensation for Staff Accountant at Hotel Bel-Air would be $31.50/hr.
- Perform the daily income and cash/credit card reconciliations
- Complete the Daily Revenue Report
- Complete and reconcile daily revenue adjustments
- Distribute income audit reports and submit daily revenue adjustments for approval
- Compile sales and occupancy tax submissions along with commission payments
- Support the month‑end closing process by preparing journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Complete AR functions, respond to guest inquiries via phone or email, prepare individual/group billing, attend Pre‑con meetings as needed
- Complete AP functions, set up vendors in the financial system, record and distribute invoices for approval, post and disburse payments as needed
- Complete General Cashiering functions as needed
- Work with the Hotel Finance Team on various financial audit tasks, helping to ensure a strong internal controls environment
- Prepare financial analysis for review as needed
- Special projects and other accounting duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required, with a concentration in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
- Two years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Working knowledge of accounting software application (Microsoft Dynamics GP, Micros, and/or Opera preferred)
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent organizational skills for record‑keeping purposes, ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
